As a nod to pioneer methods of building, these poplar beams are hand hewn in our Nashville shop with a foot axe. This method was used to hand process a log to remove all branches and knobs before using the log for building. This method requires a great attention to detail before use in our lighting fixtures. The look lends itself well to modern rustic lighting, making a perfect addition to your contemporary decor. This UL listed chandelier holds 9 Edison bulbs wrapped around the beam in varying lengths making perfect accent lighting. Commonly used for dining room decor, our standard build for this chandelier is a 60" total drop, best for a minimum 11’ ceiling, above a dining room table. We prefer a 4’ drop in a 10’ ceiling, leaving 6’ height up to the bottom bulb. Let us know Your ceiling height and we will make recommendations accordingly and can even send you a CAD drawing specifically for your application. Allow 4-6 weeks. 🇺🇸
While this fixture is adjustable by a licensed electrician, Carroll by Design does not recommend this fixture be installed on a ceiling below 8.5' tall. This fixture does not support a plug and will need to be directly wired by a licensed electrician.
