These rare flyway maps were designed by renowned wildlife artist Richard E. Bishop and cartographer Joseph P. Sims. The Surface Feeding Duck map was issued in 1934 followed by the Diving Ducks in 1937. These faithful reproductions depict the breeding and wintering areas as well as major concentrations and migration routes. Bishop became one of America's most recognized waterfowl artists, designing the 1936-37 Federal Duck Stamp. He produced numerous paintings and etchings well as his popular bar and glassware, a tradition still carried on by his family and sold through our website and store.
